Thoughts
Skid Row is the only hair metal band that has multiple songs that I will actively not skip. This is to be distinguished from “not actively skip” in the following manner:
Bruno Mars’ “Grenade” is a song that I will actively skip, because it has astonishingly bad lyrics and the chorus blows.
Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa’s “Young, Wild, and Free” (Feat. Bruno Mars) is a song that I will not actively skip. I don’t ~have~ to listen to the song if it’s playing, but I’m not offended by its very existence in the same way that I’m offended by the existence of “Grenade.”
I can’t think of a Bruno Mars-adjacent song that I will actively not skip because I really don’t like him. For context, when I was in high school, I was accused of only liking Tyler, the Creator because of that line in “Yonkers” concerning Mr. Mars. My opinions on this subject date back a long way.
Tl;dr: “Eighteen and Life” and “I Remember You” both fucking bang, and Sebastian Bach is thoroughly enjoyable on Gilmore Girls.

What’s channel.WAV listening to this week?
Ritter: You can never have enough Stevie, and I think sometimes he pulls off covers of other people's hits better than they pull it off initially. Disagree? Listen above!
Slone: This is an important video. Everything about it is perfect. Never have you seen so many people working so hard to pretend their live performance isn’t falling apart.
Botts: If anyone from HAIM and I had a child, they would be named Stacy. Then the youths would know why this song slaps.
Theatrical banger: Beetlejuice’s opening number
Fall, bitch.
