We here at channel.WAV have had a great summer, and if you're anything like us, you've been soundtracking your mid-year activities with specific jams. Now is YOUR chance to tell us, what's the song that's spoken to you the most in this despicably hot year, 2022?
Here's how it'll work: until Sunday, August 14th, you'll be able to submit your nomination for Song of the Summer. We'll collect these nominations and tally them up over the week, then select a number of these at the end of the period. While any song is eligible, keep in mind that just because you were listening, doesn't mean that everyone thinks that encapsulates the summer this year.
Then, on August 15th, we'll open voting for channel.WAV's Song of the Summer 2022. You, the fans, will get to vote for your choice after listening to our hand-crafted playlist of the nominations. Voting closes on August 21st, be sure to get your vote in quick!
A few things to keep in mind:
1. Submitting a nomination will collect your email address, which we will keep track of in case of over-nominations.
2. Sharing this announcement and following us on Blogger will entitle you to extra consideration for your nomination.
3. Even better, if you leave a comment explaining why your nomination is the true Song of the Summer 2022, we'll give you even more consideration!

It’s hard not to narrow it down to As It Was, First Class, or About Damn Time from the numbers. It might be time to face it… summer belongs to Harry Styles. Watermelon Sugar was the harbinger for Harry’s emergence as premiere summer songster. To lead the Hot 100 for the entire summer is a feat that seems to have been done only by a handful of songs in chart history… maybe 3 other possible candidates. Move over Drake/DJ Khaled, summer isn’t yours anymore.
