Fresh Friday - June 24th, 2022

Something something something IT'S ANOTHER FRIDAY! Here's some good (and maybe not so good music) we've corralled just for your enjoyment:

Beyoncé - "BREAK MY SOUL":

Most notably this week, Beyoncé returns! It's a house song, and rumors are the whole album (Renaissance, out July 29th) is a dance album! LOL! It's pretty good, but Beyoncé acting like she's ever worked a 9-to-5 is pretty ridiculous.

Soccer Mommy - Sometimes, Forever:

Soccer Mommy has returned with her third album, and it's stellar. She knows what she's doing with this music thing.

Lil Nas X - "LATE TO DA PARTY (feat. NBA Youngboy)":

The king of Twitter has returned, and this single is sure to destroy the charts for a while.

Lolo Zouaï - "Blur":

Lolo is a gem of undiscovered talent, and her second single from her upcoming sophomore album is just as good as her first. Then, go check out her debut album!

MUNA - MUNA:

For fans of HAIM, MUNA are a trio of fantastic indie-poppers. Their self-titled debut album is nothing short of catchy.

The Mars Volta - "Blacklight Shine":

I'm not much of a van of the Mars Volta, and this new single isn't drawing me in, but it's fine enough. Their hiatus is pretty notable, I'm sure fans are rejoicing.

Kacey Musgraves - "Can't Help Falling in Love":

The awfully awkward Elvis soundtrack rollout continues, but they actually released a single that makes sense! A cover! Of an Elvis song! The review of the soundtrack is slowly building, which is on the way since both the entire album and movie came out today.
